Patient education was once a job limited to medical doctors. Still, in today's scenario, the nurses assume equal responsibility for educating patients and making them responsible for their health status. Only patients can take a proactive role in their care; they need to comprehend their health condition and prevent or minimize health complications.
NM Family services give equal focus for caring and educating the community as well. Our doctors, nurses and health support workers do work in that direction. We also have few specialized health educators who organize in-house training programs for the NM FS team and update them with the latest inputs on health-related matters.
